Dholera SIR

Dholera SIR is a momentous and chief part of DMIC (Delhi-Mumbai industrial corridor). The Delhi-Mumbai industrial corridor development corporation (DMICDC) is a planned industrial development project between India’s capital - Delhi and its financial hub - Mumbai. It is one of the world’s largest infrastructure projects with an estimated investment of USD 90 billion and is planned as a high-tech industrial zone spread across six states over a 1500 km long western dedicated freight corridor which serves as its backbone.

Dholera Special Investment Region, India's first greenfield smart city is located in the dynamic state of Gujarat and has been envisioned by the Prime Minister Mr. Modi as a city that is twice the size of Mumbai and six times that of Shanghai. It is spread over a massive area of 920 square kilometers and encompasses 22 villages. Located in the Ahmedabad district and surrounded by water bodies on three fronts, the region is a proposed global trading and manufacturing hub.

As per 2001 census, the population of Dholera smart city was 37,000. However with the turnaround of events, the city is expected to host 2 million people over the next three decades and support 2.5 million people through .80 million new employment opportunities that shall be created as a result of the upcoming economic spur.

DHOLERA SIR TOWN PLANNING

Dholera SIR consists of 22 villages which are highlighted in the specified TP summing up to a 920 sq.km of which 420 sq.km of area would be developed as per the framework. The developable area is being divided into 6 town planning (TP), namely TP1, TP2, TP3, TP4, TP5, TP6. Government has already started its work by developing TP2 & TP4, of which an total area of 22 sq.km namely TP2A & TP4A known as ACTIVATION AREA is completed and delivered and open for industrial use, with the best infrastructure in and convenient system in india for industrial purpose.

TOWN PLANNING 1 (TP1)

TP1 includes 3 villages namely Ambli, gogla and a big fraction of Kadipur consisting of a developable area of 61.4 sq.km. TP1 is divided into 6 fragments namely TP1A-1, TP1A-2, TP1A-3, TP1A-4, TP1A-5, TP1B.

TOWN PLANNING 2 (TP2)

TP2 consists of 11 vilages - Dholera, Gorasu, Bhadiyad, Otariya, Bhimtalav, Kadipur, rahatalav, bhimtalav, khun and a small part of mundi and sandhida. Total developable area is 102.34 sq.km. TP2 is divided into 8 fragments namely TP2A, TP2B-1, TP2B-2, TP2B-3, TP2B-4, TP2B-5, TP2B-6, TP2B-7

TOWN PLANNING 3 (TP3)

TP3 accounts 7 villages which includes otariya, sodhi, sangasar, sandhida, and a micro part of panchi, mundi and Dholera. Total developable area is 66.6 sq.km. TP3 is divided into 4 fragments TP3A, TP3B, TP3C, TP3D.

TOWN PLANNING 4 (TP4)

TP4 includes 7 villages noted to be - mundi, panchi, bhangadh, mahadevpura, and a fractional part of sandhida, zankhi and dholera. Total developable area is 60 sq.km making it the smallest TP of all 6 sanctioned schemes. It is divided into 3 fragments namely TP4A, TP4B-1, TP4B-2.

TOWN PLANNING 5 (TP5)

TP5’s framework is based in 4 villages that includes - hebatpur, sangasar, bavaliyari and a noticeable part of panchi. Total developable area is 74.75 sq.km. it is parted in 4 frames,namely TP5A, TP5B, TP5C, TP5D.

TOWN PLANNING 6 (TP6)

TP6, the last TP of dholera SIR consists of 5 villages – hebatpur, bavaliyari, zankhi, mingalpur and bhangadh. The total developable area is 67.33 sq.km. it is divided into 2 big parts namely TP6A , TP6B.

Dholera SIR which is a framework for the future cities to be developed in india consists of all the zones that are essential for a perfectly planned first greenfield smartcity of India, which ensures that Dholera on one hand will boost up economic growth and rapid industrial development and will promise developing renewable energy and establishing lush green forests throughout dholera and would put strict protocols and rules to minimise industrial waste and pollution which would showcase the world the unprecendented growth and revenue.

ACTIVATION AREA.

Activation area includes phase named TP2A & TP4A with a total area of 22 sq.km that is been completed and delivered by L&T for establishing huge industries, all the final plots(FP) are allotted to its owner for possession is sanctioned, it’s a fine sample of how all the TP’s are going to be developed. Current major companies or industries that are allotted land by government in activation area is TATA lithium battery power plant ( worth Rs.4000 crore), Tsingshan steel company, torrent power and many others.
